PRINTER CONTROLLER (A643) ROM MODIFICATION HISTORY

DESCRIPTION OF MODIFICATION
- 1st. Software Released.
- 2nd. Software Released.
- Printer hangs up when printing word data with
lines shaded with colors as HP/GL.
- Duplex printing, HP/GL mode and colored
lines.
- Paper jam in Duplex mode when the A4 size
data is printed to the A3 paper.
- Out put of Genoa FTS file is different from
that of HP (*Genoa FTS file)
- Page ordering is wrong.
- Duplex printing, Inter leave is on and also
execute interrupt copier.
- Finisher is supported
- Print overrun by the access time to HDD.
- Band Buffer is increased from 660KB to 4MB.
- If the controller has a HDD, the SIMM
memory more than 4MB must be added.
- General Protection Fault at the Landscape
Printing in Raster mode.
Hung-up when the job reset is pressed during
storing the data.
- Doggy Tail function of the finisher does not
work in the energy save and night timer mode.
- Demo page cannot be printed.
- Hung Up occurs rarely during storing the
printing data on HDD due to the sector control
failure.
- Memory overflow corrected.
- When printing Banner page with Staple job,
Banner page is printed incorrectly.
- Resource saving on Test Page indicate "1219
Kbytes Allocated of 1219 Kbytes Available." It
should be "0 Kbytes Allocated of ..."
- When printing with Raster mode and custom
paper size setting, output is incorrect.
