8. Feed the bead end of the cable through the pulley
cable is fed is from the inside of the machine toward the outside of the
machine.
9. Position the center bead of the cable into the locking position of the
pulley. (Not shown in the illustration
10. Wrap the cable around the pulley as illustrated in
cord. The cable is wrapped from the outter edge of the pulley to the
center of the pulley.
11. Wind the end of the new wire with a ball as shown in illustrations
on the previous page.
12. Wind the end of the new wire with a ring as shown in illustrations
on the previous page.
13. Secure the screw of the wire tension bracket, with the wire tension spring
pulled as shown in illustration
14. Install the 1st scanner and adjust its position with the scanner positioning
tools (P/N A0069104) [A]. Then clamp the 1st scanner with the scanner
positioning pin as shown in illustration
15. Remove the positioning tools. After sliding the scanner to the left and
right several times, set the scanner positioning tools to check the clamp
position and wire tension bracket position again.
16. Perform the scanner and printer copy adjustments as described on page 6-38.
