14.2 LASER UNIT/MAIN SCAN SYNCHRONIZATION

WARNING
Turn off the main switch and unplug the machine before attempting
any of the procedures in this section. Laser beams can seriously
damage your eyes.
1. Remove the copy tray.
2. Disconnect the harness [A] from the polygon motor driver [B].
3. Remove the main scan syncronization detector [C].
4. Remove the laser unit (4 screws and 1 connector).
