4.7 SCANNER MOTOR

1. Remove the exposure glass and operation panel. (See Exposure
Glass/Operation Panel/Upper Cover.)
2. Remove the lens covers. (See Lens Cover.)
3. Remove the scanner frames. (See Scanner Frame.)
4. Remove the harness [A].
5. Remove the tension spring [B].
6. Remove the motor bracket [C] (2 screws).
7. Secure the new motor with the tension spring.

8. Perform the scanner and printer copy adjustments as described on page 5-39.
