3.6 CHECKING THE CONNECTIONS

3.6.1 Connection Between Printer Controller (and related options;
Printer Enhancement Unit, Hard Disk Drive, SIMM) and Copier
1. Plug in the power cord and turn on the ac and main switches.
2. Press the Printer key to select the printer function. The LCD should
display "Ready PCL (PS or Auto)".
3. Press "Online". The LCD displays the menu.
4. Select "Test".
5. Select "Cont Self Test".
6. Press "Start" to print the test pages, then press "Cancel" to stop.
NOTE: For more detailed information about the operation panel settings,
refer to the operation manual.
