Image Rotation
First, the FCU stores the data from either an analog line or an ISDN line to
the SAF memory. (The data goes in parallel to the SCP, and is checked for
error lines/frames.)
The FCU then decompresses the data and transfers it to page memory. If
image rotation is possible, the image is rotated in page memory. The data is
transferred to the BiCU in the 8-bit format (6-bits level/2-bits phase) used by
the base copier's laser engine for printing.
