5.3.1 Overview

The by-pass feed table [A] can hold 100 sheets of paper.
This machine does not have a by-pass feed cover sensor. The by-pass feed
indicator is always displayed on the LCD. The Add Paper indicator will light
when the user selects by-pass feed while the by-pass feed table is closed or
if there is no paper on the by-pass feed table.
After the Start key is pressed, the cpu energizes the by-pass feed clutch and
the by-pass feed roller [B] starts to feed paper towards the registration rollers
[C].
