7. Install the front [A] and rear [B]connecting bracket. (2 screws each)
8. Slide the stapler unit [C] out of the finisher unit and ensure that the
locking lever [D] is in the unlock position (outward).
CAUTION:
Before attaching the finisher to a cabinet, ensure that the grounding
plate area on the bottom side of the cabinet is paint free. If necessary,
remove the paint from the area of the grounding plate to ensure a
proper grounding connection. Do not touch the copper contacts on
the grounding plate.
9. With extreme care, position the grounding plate located at the bottom of
the finisher (not shown) under the optional paper tray unit (or cabinet).
10. Align and install the finisher to the connection brackets [A] and [B] and
lock the finisher in place by sliding the locking lever [D] inward.
11. Secure the locking lever [D] (1 screw) and slide the staple unit into the
finisher.
12. Install the shift tray [E] (1 snap ring).
13. Connect the cable [F] to the copier.
14. Plug in the copier power cord.
15. Turn the ac and main switches on and ensure that the document feeder
works properly.
