Action
Apply sealant to the mounting surface for
the protection ring.
Refit the protection ring. Verify that the o-
ring is undamaged and placed in its groove
on the protection ring.
Replace if damaged.
Action
DANGER
Make sure that all supplies for electrical power,
hydraulic pressure, and air pressure are turned
off.
Remove any old paint or flange sealant residues
or other contamination from the contact surfaces
on both the motor and the mating parts.
Tip
Remove flange sealant residues with Loctite 7200.
Then use Loctite 7063 for cleaning the mating
surface.
