Configuring Avaya DECT phones
The format of the rows in the phonebook file is:
<Name><tab><phone number>
followed by additional rows for each entry.
The telephone supports a maximum length of 24 characters in each field, additional characters
are truncated when the phonebook file is created. The following characters are accepted in the
telephone number field in the phonebook file, but are ignored when the phonebook file is
created: ( ) - and " "(space).
Uploading a company phonebook file
In PDM or the Device Manager in the AIWS, go to the devices tab and select device(s). In the
Device menu, select Upload phonebook.

Uploading a new company phonebook will delete the existing company

Deleting Company phonebook entries
You can delete Company phonebook entries in a handset by downloading an empty company
phonebook file to the handset.

Call services

Call services is a configurable menu in the telephone. The purpose of the Call services menu is
to provide a user friendly access to system dependent functionality such as Absence handling
and Call Diversion. The settings for the Call services menu are system dependent.
The menu is described in User Manual, Avaya 372x/374x telephone.
Besides the default Call services functions, it is possible to define 16 extra system-specific call
services by codes. The codes can be programmed with pause (P) and auto disconnection (H =
Hook). Both Name and Data must be defined for the option to be displayed. Possible values:
Digits 0-9, #,*
H: Hook
P: Pause
T: DTMF tone on
t: DTMF tone off
