Installing and operating the IPBS and IPBL

IPBS/IPBL devices are factory delivered with a default system administrator account.
Logging in as System Administrator
To log in as a system administrator:
1. Reach the device GUI using a web browser. See
2. Click the link labeled System Administration.
The system displays a login window.
3. Enter user name and password for a system administrator.
4. Click OK to log in.
Modifying the default System Administrator Account
You can modify the default account but cannot delete it.
1. Log in as system administrator. See
2. Select Configuration > General > Admin.
3. Configure the following settings:
Field name
Device Name
User Name
Password
Confirm Password

Changing the password does not ensure that the setting is saved. To save the
