Service Types

"Service Type" is the attribute field in the "RADIUS Access Request and RADIUS Access
Response" message as defined in RFC 2865. This attribute indicates the type of service the user
has requested, or the type of service to be provided.
The CDM-425 Advanced Satellite Modem RADIUS client recognizes the following value fields, as
assigned to the service type attribute in RADIUS: Access-Accept messages received from the
RADIUS server, and sets access levels accordingly:

Some RADIUS Servers might need to be reconfigured with the above service type values for
corresponding user access levels.
