In all cases except when MEO (Medium Earth Orbit) is enabled, the mode is fixed at Normal. On
the bottom line, use the ▲▼ arrow keys to select the maximum permitted power increase:

AUPC causes the maximum output power level to be reached. Valid settings are:

Front Panel Operation
The output level reverts to the nominal power level set under Manual.
The output level changes to the maximum permitted.
Upper Limit
9.9 dB
(Maximum Power) Generates alarm when maximum power is reached.
(Minimum ModCod) Generates alarm if minimum ModCod is reached.
Generates no alarm.
