Use this page to set up the DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) Relay feature.
DHCP allows a device to be configured automatically – eliminating the need for intervention by a
network administrator – and provides a server located at the hub for keeping track of devices that
are connected to the network. This prevents two devices from accidentally being configured with
the same IP Address.
The DHCP Relay feature allows you to deploy a single DHCP server at the hub that manages all
of the devices throughout your remote networks. When a device on the CDM-425's
network issues a DHCP request, it is relayed to the DHCP server as specified by the "DHCP
Server IP Address". The DHCP response is then sent directly to the requesting device.

DHCP Relay

Relay Feature: Use the drop-down list to Disable or Enable the DHCP Relay Feature.
DHCP Server IP Address: Specify the IP Address to be used for the DHCP server at the
hub in the form XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX.
Click [Submit] to save.
