Overview
The CDM-425 Advanced Satellite Modem's handling of Ethernet terrestrial traffic data differs
depending on whether the optional IP Packet Processor is either not installed or installed but
disabled; or when the optional IP Packet Processor is installed and enabled.
Appendix J. IP PACKET PROCESSOR OPTION
This appendix explains the CDM-425 Advanced Satellite Modem's Ethernet interface and
illustrates the functional differences between the available operating modes. Additional modes of
operation are also explained.
