Hub-to-Hub Using Ethernet Routers
Figure I-5 shows two hub-sites connected with standard Ethernet traffic, using routers instead of
switches for the Ethernet connection. The routers will block the broadcasts coming from the
remote network; therefore, the creation of a broadcast storm is prevented and there is no
possibility of having a remote MAC on the Hub networks.
