Each choice displays a submenu similar to the TX-FIFO submenu:
Tx-FIFO Alarm:
Masked (◄ ►,ENT)
Active
Typical for each Tx Alarm submenu, use the
ENTER.
When you select Masked, the modem generates no alarm. When you select Active, the modem
generates a fault. For example, for the preceding TX-FIFO Tx Alarm Mask, with the mask set to
Active the modem generates a Transmit Traffic fault whenever the transmitter sees that the
Transmit FIFO has slipped.

displays a submenu similar to the AGC submenu:
AGC Alarm:
Active
Masked (◄ ►,ENT)
Typical for each Rx Alarm submenu, use the
ENTER.
When you select Masked, the modem generates no alarm. When you select Active, the modem
generates a fault. For example, for the preceding AGC Alarm Mask, with the mask set to Active
the modem generates a Receive Traffic fault whenever the demodulator sees that the composite
input level being applied causes compression in the IF stages, and consequently degrades the
performance of the demodulator.
