1. Measure the clearance between the reverse shift
fork and 5th/reverse shift piece pin.

Measure the clearance between the reverse idler
gear and reverse shift fork.
Standard:
0.5 - 1.1 mm (0.020 - 0.043 in)
Srrvico Limit: 1.8 mm (0.071 inl
Standard:
A: 0.05 - 0.35 mm 10.002 - 0.01i| in)
B: 0.,1- 0.8 mm {0.016 - 0.031 in)
Servico Limit; A: 0.5 mm (0.020 inl
B: 1.0 mm {0.039 in)
lf the clearance exceed the service limit, measure
the width of the groove in the reverse shift fork.
Stand8rd:A: 7.05 - 7.25 mm (0.278 - 0.285 inl
8: 7.4- 7.7 mm (0.291 -0.303 inl

lf the clearance exceeds the service limit, measure
the width of the reverse shift tork.
Standard: 13.0 - 13.3 mm {0.512 - 0.52'l in)
lf the width of the groove exceeds the standard,
replace the reverse shift fork with a new one.
It the width of the groove is within the standard,
reolace the sth/reverse shift Diece with a new one.
