Rear Damper
Installation
1 . Lower the rear suspension and set the damper as,
semblv.
Connect the damper assembly and the lowe. arm,
then loosely install the damper mounting bolt.
NOTE: The damp€. mounting bolt should be tight-
ened with the damDer under vehicle load.

Tighten the two nuts.

Connect the upper arm and knuckle, then tighten the
castle nut.
5. Install the knuckle protector with the bolt.

On reassembly,

Raise the rear suspension with a tloor jack until the
weight ot the car is on the dampe,.
Tighten the damper mounting bolt

Check the rear wheel alignment and adjust if neces-
sary (see page 18-4).
