15. Push the right end ot the rack back into the cYlinder
housing so the smooth surtace that rides agsinst
the seal won't be damaged.
Check the ball bearing ot the pinion for play; if it is
good, go on step 17,
lf the bearing is noisy or has excessive play, replace
the bearing.
a Remove the snap ring.

a Remove the ball bearing using a commercially
available bearing puller.
Install the ball bearing on the
p.ess and the special tools.
