. Clean sll parts thoroughly in solv€nt ot carburetor

cleangr, and dry with compressed arr.

. Blow out all psssages,

. Lubricate all parts with ATF beJore assembv.

1. Inspect the piston for a loose check vslve, if the check

valve is loose, replace th€ p;ston.

Be sure that the disc spring is securely staked.

For 1st, 3rd and 4th clutches

Install new O-rings on the piston.

Install the piston in the clutch drum. Apply pressure

and rotate to ensure proper seating.

. For allclutches

. Lubricate the piston O-ring with ATF before

Installthe return spring and spring retainer and position

the snap ring on the retainer.
