21. Remove the intake manitold bracket and intake

23. Remove the front wheels and the engine splash shield
(page 5-18).

24. Remove the heat insulator (cars equipped with air con-
ditioning onlY).
25. Remove the self]ocking nuts and disconnect the ex-
haust manifold and exhaust PiPe A.
26. Bemove the exhaust manifold bracket and exhaust
manifold.
HEAT INSULATOR
(Cars oquipped with air conditioningl
Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV)
hose, then remove the cylinder head cover.
Remove the upPer cover.
Loosan the adjuating nut 27O - 3600.
Push the tensioner to release tension from the timing
b€lt, then retighten the adiusting nut.
