1. After installing all removed parts, hav€ a helper hold

the switch to close the sunroof panel while you

measure force required to stop it. Attsch a spring

scale as shown. Read the torce as soon as the sunroof

panel stops moving, then immedistely releasa the

switch and spring scale.

When udng a spring scale. protest th€ badng adgo

of tha 3unroof panel whh a 3hop towel.

Closing Force: 20-30 ks {/t4-66 lbs)

lf force is not within sDociJication, install I new bck

washer, sdjust the tension by turning the motor clutch

adjusting nut, and bend th€ lock washer agsinst the

motor clutch adjusting nut.
