Check inside bore for wear.
Inspect for cracks.

Inspect ball bearings whilo rotaiang
Do not try to disassemble
Disassembly/lnsPection
NOTE:
a Mark the rollers and roller grooves during disassembly to ensure proper positioning duting reassembly.
a Before disassembly, mark the spider and driveshaft so they can be reinstalled in their original posilions.
a The inboard joint must be removed to .eplace the boots.
a lf the boot band is the welded type, cut off as shown.
CAUTION: Take care not to damag€ tho boots.
Check splines tor wear or damage.
Check inside bore lor wear.
Inspect for cracks,
