Syntax
ip delete interface {<name>|<number>}

Description
This command deletes a single IP interface that was created using the ip
add interface command.

A name that identifies an existing IP
interface. To display interface names,
use the ip list interfaces
command.
A number that identifies an existing IP
interface. To display interface
numbers, use the ip list
interfaces command. The number
appears in the first column under the
heading ID.
