The following table gives the range of values for each option which can be
specified with this command and a default value (if applicable).

Description
A name that identifies an existing IP
interface. To display interface names,
use the ip list interfaces
command.
A number that identifies an existing IP
interface. To display interface
numbers, use the ip list
interfaces command. The number
appears in the first column under the
heading ID.
A secondary IP address that you want
to add to the main IP interface. You
can add any number of secondary IP
addresses. The IP address is
displayed in the following format:
192.168.102.3
To display the secondary IP
addresses, use the ip interface
list secondaryipaddresses
command.
The netmask of the secondary IP
address displayed in the following
format: 255.255.255.0
To display the secondary IP
addresses, use the ip interface
list secondaryipaddresses
command.
