ASSEMBLY
2. install the rocker arm and rocker shaft assembly.
Caution
The bolts must be tightened evenly and in the
order shown in the figure.
Tightening torque:
22-28 N.m (2.2-2.9 m-kg, 18-21 ft-lb)
Cylinder Head Cover
1. Apply a coat of sealant in the groove as shown.
2. Place the gasket in position.
3. Install the cylinder head cover with new seal
washers.
Tightening torque:
5-9 N.m (0.5-0.9 m-kg, 43-78 in-lb)
4. Install the filler cap and the ventilation hose.
Water Pump
1. Remove any dirt or old gasket from the water pump
mounting surface.
2. Place a new water pump gasket in position.
