ASSEMBLY
1 3. Install the rear cover along with a new gasket.
Tightening torque:
S-11 N.m (0.8-1.1 m-kg, 69-95 in-lb)
4. Cut away the part of the gasket that projects out
from the rear cover assembly.
Caution
Do not scratch the rear cover assembly.
End Plate
Install the end plate
Tightening torque:
S-11 N.m (0.8-1.1 m-kg, 69-95 in-lb)
Oil Pump
1, Remove any dirt or grease from the contact sur-
faces of the cylinder block and oil pump with a rag.
2. Apply engine oil to the oil seal lip.
3. Install new gasket.
Caution
Do not allow any sealant in the oil hole.
