OIL PUMP
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Drain the engine oil.
3. Remove each part in the numbered sequence shown in the figure.
4. install in the reverse order of removal.
1. Timing belt cover
2. Timing belt pulley
3. Oil pan (Refer to page 28-6)
4. Oil strainer
5. Oil pump
Timing Belt Pulley
1, Install the
SST
to the timing belt pulley
2. Remove the lock bolt.
3. Remove the timing belt pulley.
