3. Installation of rack busing.
Install the rack bushing to the rock housing so that
the convex part of the rack bushing lines up with
the slit of the rack housing.
Align the three lock points and tap in with the old
bushing and a piece of wood.
Note
Apply grease (lithium base, NLGI No. 2) to the
inside of the bushing.
4. Push the mounting rubber on until it just contacts
the end of the housing.
5. Carefully install the rack in the direction of the
arrow.
Caution
If the rack is installed from the opposite direc-
tion, the inner surface of the rack bushing
might be damaged by the edge of the rack
gear.
