End Plate
Install the end plate,
Tightening torque:
8-11 N.m (0.8-1.1 m-kg, 69-95 in-lb)
Oil Pump
1, Remove any dirt or grease from the contact sur-
faces of the cylinder block and oil pump with a rag.
2. Apply engine oil to the oil seal lip.
3. Install new gasket.
Caution
Do not allow any sealant in the oil hole.
4. Install the oil pump,
Tightening torque:
19-28 N.m (1.9-2.8 m-kg, 14-19 R-lb)
5. Remove any sealant which is squeezed out.
Oil Strainer
Install the oil strainer along with a new gasket.
Tightening torque:
8-11 N~m (0.8-1.1 m-kg, 69-95 in-lb)
