1. Connect a voltmeter between the E/L control unit
and ground.
2. Start the engine and check the terminal voltages
as described below.

Replacement
1. Disconnect
the connector
from the E/L control
unit.
2. Replace the E/L control unit.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
