DISASSEMBLY
5. Remove the bearing with the
SST.
Caution
Support the drive pinion by hand so that it will
not fall.
6. Remove the spacer.
Bearing Outer Race (Carrier)
1. Using a brass drift and hammer drive out the
bearing.
2. Remove the bearing outer races by using the two
grooves in the carrier and tapping the races alter-
nately.
Bearing Inner Race (Differential gear)
1. Remove the bearing inner race with the
SST.
Note
Do not disassemble the bearing inner race un-
less necessary.
