Be careful when the self tapping screw is installed into a plastic component, refer to

Release the harness.

Disconnect PJ193.

Remove the document width sensor.
Ground harness.

Removal
Switch off the electricity to the machine,
customer supply while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity can
cause death or injury. Moving parts can cause injury.
1. Remove the input tray assembly,
Disconnect the ground harness from the static eliminator before the input tray assembly lower
cover is removed, refer to
2. Turn the input tray assembly upside down. Remove the relevant cover:
• (35 ppm) Input tray assembly lower cover,
• (40-90 ppm) Lower cover (right),
