13.13.1 Removing the spring for the piston
1. Lightly tension the cover clamping device 401 in the vise.
2. Insert the pressure reducer into the cover clamping device 401.
When doing so, note: The cover clamping device 401 clamps
onto the housing cover 112.
3. Tighten the cover clamping device 401 in the vise.
4. Push the counter cap 404 over the safety valve and the housing.
5. Place the torque wrench onto the square of the counter cap 404.
6. Use the torque wrench to slightly loosen the housing from the

housing cover 112.
When doing so, note: The housing must not yet be removed.
7. Loosen the vise and carefully remove the pressure reducer from
the cover clamping device 401.
Risk of injury due to the piston spring springing out!
The piston spring is under a lot of tension. The housing cover and
the spring can spring out at the user or bystanders and cause injury.
 Carefully remove the housing cover by hand.
8. Carefully loosen the housing cover 112 with piston 110 and
spring 111 from the housing by hand and then remove.
9. Remove the spring 111 from the piston 110.

10.Remove the piston 110 from the housing cover 112.
13.13.2 Fitting the spring for the piston
1. Position the spring 111 on the piston 110.
2. Insert the piston 110 with spring 111 into the housing cover 112.
