Requirement:
No bubbles form between the pressure outlet 105/inhalation
outlet 106 and the housing.
9. Use a brush to lightly moisten the small opening between the
housing and the pressure reducer housing cover 112 with leak
detection spray 502.
Requirement:
No bubbles form at the small opening between the housing and
the housing cover 112.
10.Close the valve on the oxygen cylinder.
11.Remove the cap 503 from the pressure outlet 105.
Or
For pressure reducers with an output of 4 l/min:
Remove the cap 504 from the inhalation outlet 106.
12.Remove the hand-screwed connection 115 from the valve of
the oxygen cylinder.
13.Wipe the pressure reducer with a clean, dry cloth.
7.6 Checking the contents indicator
1. Screw the hand-screwed connection 115 onto the valve of
the oxygen cylinder.
2. Screw the hand-screwed connection 115 tight by hand.

3. Screw the shut-off valve 508 onto the pressure outlet 105.
Or
For pressure reducers with an output of 4 l/min:
• Screw the adapter 507 onto the inhalation outlet 106.
• Screw the shut-off valve 508 onto the adapter 507.
4. If the shut-off valve 508 is open: Close the shut-off valve 508.
5. Check the needle on the contents indicator 100.
Requirement:
The needle on the contents indicator 100 is at "0".
6. Check whether the contents indicator 100 can be rotated.
Requirement:
The contents indicator 100 can be rotated.
7. Open the valve of the oxygen cylinder slowly.
Requirement:
The contents indicator 100 displays the cylinder pressure.
