Risk due to adhesive in the gas flow!
If the first two threads of the inhalation outlet are moistened with
adhesive, this adhesive can get into the gas flow to the patient and
lead to airway irritation.
 Do not moisten the first two threads with adhesive.
10.Apply Loctite 413 to the thread of the inhalation outlet 301.
11.Insert the inhalation outlet 301 into the multistep flow selector 307.
12.Use the 8 Nm torque wrench to tightly screw in the inhalation
301
outlet 301 in the multistep flow selector 307.
When doing so, note: Loctite 413 must harden according to the
manufacturer's specifications.
13.Remove the cover assembly 324 from the cover clamping
device 401.
14.Screw the cover assembly 324 onto the housing 320 with O
sampling point 322 by hand.
15.Place the housing 320 with the cover assembly 324 into the cover
clamping device 401.
When doing so, note: The cover clamping device 401 must clamp
onto the housing cover 308.
16.Tighten the cover clamping device 401 in the vise.
17.Place the 8 Nm torque wrench onto the hexagon of the

18.Use the 8 Nm torque wrench to tightly screw the housing 320 onto
the cover assembly 324.

19.Remove the housing 320 with the cover assembly 324 from
the cover clamping device 401.
20.Turn the housing 320 with the cover assembly 324 180° and
place it back into the cover clamping device 401.
When doing so, note: The cover clamping device 401 must

clamp onto the housing cover 308.
21.Move the multistep flow selector 307 with inhalation outlet 301
to the desired position by hand.
