13.12.2 Fitting the O
1. Pick up the O
Risk due to adhesive in the gas flow!
If the first two threads of the O
adhesive, this adhesive can get into the gas flow to the patient
and lead to airway irritation.
 Do not moisten the first two threads with adhesive.
2. Apply Loctite 413 to the thread of the O
3. Tightly screw the reducer onto the O
4. Apply Loctite 413 to the thread of the reducer.

7. Loosen the hand-screwed connection 115 at the top part of the
