12.Use a brush to lightly moisten the connection between the
housing and the inhalation outlet 257 with leak detection
spray 502.
Requirement:
No bubbles form between the inhalation outlet and the housing.
13.Close the multistep flow selector 267.
14.Remove the cap 504 from the inhalation outlet 257.
15.Remove the hand-screwed connection 273 from the valve of
the oxygen cylinder.
16.Wipe the pressure reducer with a clean, dry cloth.
10.5 Checking the contents indicator
1. Screw the hand-screwed connection 273 onto the valve of
273
the oxygen cylinder.

2. Screw the hand-screwed connection 273 tight by hand.
3. Close the multistep flow selector 267.
4. Check the needle on the contents indicator 250.
Requirement:
The needle on the contents indicator 250 is at "0".
5. Open the valve of the oxygen cylinder slowly.
Requirement:
The contents indicator 250 displays the cylinder pressure.
6. Close the valve on the oxygen cylinder.
7. Fully open the multistep flow selector 267.
Requirement:
The needle of the contents indicator 250 moves towards "0"
without catching.
8. Close the multistep flow selector 267.
9. Remove the hand-screwed connection 273 from the valve of
the oxygen cylinder.
