Preparing the final inspection

The pressure reducer shows no signs of external damage.

The labels on the pressure reducer are present and legible.

The embossed serial number is legible.
x
The connection threads show no sign of external damage and turn smoothly.

Checking the system for leaks
x
No bubbles form between the connecting bolt and the housing.
x
No bubbles form between the contents indicator and the housing.
x
No bubbles form on the safety valve.
x
No bubbles form between the pressure outlet/inhalation outlet and the housing.
x
No bubbles form at the small opening between the housing and the housing cover.

Checking the contents indicator
x
The needle on the contents indicator is at "0".
x
The contents indicator can be rotated.
x
The contents indicator displays the cylinder pressure.
x
The needle of the contents indicator moves towards "0" without catching.

Checking the static outlet pressure p4
Cylinder pressure p1 (from the table in Chapter 7.7)
x
The static outlet pressure p4 is within the tolerance range
(from the table in Chapter 7.7).
x
Static outlet pressure p4 is constant after 1 min.

Checking the constant output (flow)
