Repairs to OXYWAY Fast I, OXYWAY Fast I+, OXYWAY Fast III
3. Use the Allen key to place the O-ring 152 in the groove in the
housing cover 162.

4. Use the brush to apply a thin coat of oxygen-compatible
lubricant 414 to the O-ring 152 in the housing cover 162.
5. Place the housing cover 162 in the cover clamping device 401.
6. Tighten the cover clamping device 401 in the vise.
7. Place the multistep flow selector 161 on the housing cover 162.
8. Pull the union nut 170 over the multistep flow selector 161 and
170
onto the housing cover 162 and screw on by hand.

9. Remove the adhesive residue from the threads on the multistep
flow selector 161.
When doing so, note:
• No dirt must get into the housing during cleaning.
• A brass brush must be used for the external thread.
• A thread tap must be used for the internal thread.
10.Pick up the inhalation outlet 155.
Risk due to adhesive in the gas flow!
If the first two threads of the inhalation outlet are moistened with
adhesive, this adhesive can get into the gas flow to the patient
and lead to airway irritation.
 Do not moisten the first two threads with adhesive.
11.Apply Loctite 413 to the thread of the inhalation outlet 155.
12.Insert the inhalation outlet 155 into the multistep flow selector 161.

13.Use the 8 Nm torque wrench to tightly screw in the inhalation
outlet 155 in the multistep flow selector 161.
When doing so, note: Loctite 413 must harden according to
the manufacturer's specifications.
