C: Tuning

C parameters adjust drive operation, including:
• Acceleration Time
• Deceleration Time
• Slip Compensation
• Torque Compensation
• Carrier Frequency
C1: Accel & Decel Time
You can set two different acceleration and deceleration time pairs in the drive. When you activate and deactivate H1-
xx = 7 [MFDI Function Selection = Accel/Decel Time Selection], you can switch acceleration and deceleration times
during run.
Acceleration time parameters always set the time to accelerate from 0 Hz to E1-04 [Maximum Output Frequency].
Deceleration time parameters always set the time to decelerate from E1-04 to 0 Hz.
C1-01 [Acceleration Time 1] and C1-02 [Deceleration Time 1] are the default active accel/decel settings.

Figure 5.29
shows an operation example to change acceleration and deceleration times. It is necessary to set b1-03 =
0 [Stopping Method Selection = Ramp to Stop] for this example.
