Mode: Automatic; Method: G language (G32)
The traverse function is a special G-language command (G32) that is pro-
vided for winding machine operations. For details on using the traverse com-
mand with the G language, refer to 7-3-15 G32: TRAVERSE.
The setting for 100 windings per layer is 36000 because one winding is equiv-
alent to 360 .
In this example, the wire is wound around a spool on a winding machine. The
spool is turned in a fixed direction and the traverse axis is operated according
to the settings for the traverse function.
