Are the upper right door and the lower
right door closed firmly?

Slide out the compartment from the deck.
Does the lifter move down? Further, is the
lifter heard to move up when the
compartment is slid in?

Does the pickup roller rotate?

Is the belt used to transmit the drive to the
pickup roller routed correctly?

Is the drive from the deck main motor
transmitted to the pickup assembly
through the drive belt, gear, and coupling?

Measure the voltage of the connector on
the side deck PCB. Does it change from
24 to 0 V when the Copy Start key is
pressed?
