3.3.1 Procedure in case of fire

The following procedure is merely a recommendation and must be adapted to the respective
operating situation.
 Stay calm!
 Report the fire!
 Safety!
 Additional measures

 WHO is reporting?
 WHAT happened?
 WHERE did it happen?
 HOW MANY persons are affected or injured?
Wait for potential questions?

 Activate the fire alarm
 Bring endangered persons to safety.
Close doors.

 Follow marked escape routes.
 Do not use the elevator!
 Comply with instructions!
 Attempt to extinguish the fire
 Instruct the fire department personnel.
 Turn away curious onlookers.
