Group 8
8.5.3 Encoder parameter
The printout of the LEIBINGER Printer up is composed of single dots printed in groups
of vertical lines. Such a vertical line of dots is called stroke. In order to position these
strokes a StrokeGo signal is required. The StrokeGo signal determins at which position
a stroke is printed.
Explanation:
The StrokeGo signals can be generated by an external encoder or based on time
measurments via 2 sensor signals. Alternatively the StrokeGo signals can be generated
internally by software. If the internal <StrokeGo-source> is selected additionally the
printing speed has to be defined.
The settings and parameters for all three methods are entered on the <Encoder
Parameter> tab.
The following parameters and settings are available:
Selection of encoder signal source
Rotating direction
Use encoder direction for mirroring
Lock backward on/off
