Menu
Description
Press the Coupling softkey to select the input coupling type.
– DC
DC coupling allows both the AC and DC analog input signals to pass through to the analog analyzer and to be measured
down to 0 Hz. This setting should be selected when making DC voltage measurements.
Coupling
– AC
AC coupling blocks the DC component of the analog input signal by switching a capacitor in series to the input path.
This setting should be selected when you need to measure only the AC component of a signal. For example, use AC
coupling when you are making an rms or peak-to-peak voltage measurement.
Press the Band wid th softkey to select the input band width value.
– 90 kHz
(This is the default setting with sampling rate of 192 kHz)
Band wid th
– 1.5 MHz
– This setting is only available with Option N3431A. Refer to "U8903B Options" on page
Press the Reference softkey to set the input references for analyzer.
– Voltage
– Ratio
