  • Page 6 6 | Keysight | Audio Analyzer Demonstration Procedure - Data Sheet 2. Loop Test Objective: To demonstrate the self-test feature of the audio analyzer. The Generator channel creates the signal and loops the signal to the Analyzer channel for measurements.
  • Page 7 7 | Keysight | Audio Analyzer Demonstration Procedure - Data Sheet PROCEDURE: Analyzer setup Press [Analyzer] to activate the Analyzer function. You must activate the Analyzer Channel 1 by using the arrow key because the BNC connector is connected to the Analyzer Channel 1 .

PREREQUISITE: Switch [ON] the equipment. If you have a large crowd and a project/PC monitor is available in the meeting room, connect the VGA cable (from the projector/ PC monitor input) to the VGA output from the equipment as shown in Figure 1.

Ensure that the Channel 1 box is checked. Press DOWN arrow key and the monitor settings will be highlighted sequentially (that is the Analysis Mode, Windows, etc).

You may configure the fundamental frequency, select the channel, and enter the number of harmonic components data that will be computed in the table.

Time Domain Graph Analysis Objective: To demonstrate the Time Domain graph analysis (Scope) features in the audio analyzer. PREREQUISITE: Switch [ON] the equipment. If you have a large crowd and a project/PC monitor is available in the meeting room, connect the VGA cable (from the projector/ PC monitor input) to the VGA output from the equipment as shown in Figure 1.

Ensure that the Channel 1 box is checked. Press DOWN arrow key and monitor settings will be highlighted (that is, first the Analysis Mode and then Window).

Frequency or Amplitude Sweep Analysis Objective: To demonstrate the Frequency or Amplitude Sweep analysis features in the audio analyzer. PREREQUISITE: Switch [ON] the equipment. If you have a large crowd and a project/PC monitor is available in the meeting room, connect the VGA cable (from the projector/ PC monitor input) to the VGA output from the equipment as shown in Figure 1.

Press RIGHT arrow key to highlight the Sweep settings (that is, Sweep Parameter). Press [ENTER] to activate the drop-down menu from the Sweep Parameter and select Amplitude.
