9. Inquiry source version
Selects which version to return for the inquiry command return.
0:
Returns the actual ROM revision.
1:
Returns the vendor ROM version set by the Custom menu.
10. SAM-FS mode
It is necessary for SAM-FS mode to be set up on such a case that SCSI command for tape pointer transfer
as Rewind request is given through an application software which has a possibility to invite command
timeout otherwise tape is then transferred on the spot.
0:
This is a mode, used in general, to keep tape in the position until a command requiring the tape
access such as Read/Write is received after the tape transfer command.
1:
This is a mode to make tape transfer instantly in correspondence to a request of SCSI command
for tape transfer. The target commands are Rewind, Space, and Locate.
The retrials in the unloaded state end within five minutes.
(For Read just after the Rewind request, retrials are limited to execute up to twice.)

For the version V1.41 or earlier, only the Rewind is instantly executed.
11. Write retry count
It specifies the maximum number of count of C2 Retry until destined error-fail-over in writing. It is used
in combination of a system that requires a serious view to the extent of real time. It is utilized when GY-
8240 weighs more in importance to make error reports to the upper host than the transmission rate
resulted in poor caused by generation of C2 Retry.
