3-14. Reel Motor Plate Assembly Replacement
2. Removing the ME Wire (T-side only)
(1) Remove the screw securing the lug terminal
of the ME wire.
(2) Remove the ME wire from the T drawer
assembly as shown in the figure.
3. Removing the Shaft Holder
(1) Shift the reel motor plate assembly by turning
the gear of reel shift motor.
(2) Align the guide portion of the reel motor
plate assembly with the notch of the plate
holder assembly.

The reel motor plate assembly cannot be
removed in the S or T cassette position.
(3) Remove the screw to remove the shaft holder.
